Red Barn Academy

Philosophy

The philosophy at Red Barn Academy believes in the rights and opinions of each child. A child is a competent, capable, and natural researcher who has the desire for knowledge and life and is always ready for challenges. Children are encouraged to build upon their own interests and paths while furthering their basic skills such as problem solving and emotions.

Farm Life

Our farm consists of 2 alpacas, 3 ducks, chickens and a mini cow as well as a large garden. Each day our children learn through hands on experiences from caring for animals to growing fruits and vegetables.

On the farm they learn responsibility while learning to nurture and care for our animals. In the garden they learn about science through composting, planting and daily upkeep of the plants.
